How To Provide Best Odds?

Step 1 - Observe a Best Odds Opportunity

You notice in the above scenario that the current ‘Best Odds’ on the ‘For’ Manchester City position is at 'Odds' of 2.1

You believe these Odds are too low and would be happy to bet ‘Against’ Manchester City with a higher 'Price', thereby offering a counterparty higher Odds than the current 'Best Odds' available to bet ‘For’ Manchester City.

Step 2 - Place ‘Against’ Bet

In order to Provide Best Odds on ‘For’ Manchester City position, you must place an ‘Against’ Manchester City bet at a higher Price than the current ‘Best Odds’:

• Click on any Against position within the Manchester City contract (here ‘2.6’ or ‘3.0’) to open your Betslip.

• Your BetSlip will automatically fill with the information of the currently available (i.e Market Order) ‘Against’ position that you have clicked on.

• Edit the ‘Price’ and ‘Stake’ to the values at which you would like to bet.

• ‘Price’: (Reminder: Price is simply the ‘Odds’ you are offering a ‘For’ counterparty) In order to replace the ‘Best Odds’ you must input a Price above the current ‘Best Odds. In the scenario above, you need to ‘Against’ bet at a Price above 2.1

• ‘Stake’: Note, in order to achieve the ‘Provide A Best Offer’ Aura achievement, your Stake must be over 0.0001 BTC (currently roughly $10.6 USD).

• Once happy with your inputs, hit Place Bet!

Step 3 - Best Offer Provided

• Once your ‘Against’ Bet is placed, it will appear in the Bet Grid in the ‘Best Odds’ column as shown above, ready to potentially be matched by a counterparty looking to bet ‘For’ Manchester City.

• Congratulations, you have successfully provided the best offer! You will now receive your ‘Provide Best Offer’ Aura rewards.

NOTE: As you have placed a ‘Limit Order’ (i.e an unmatched bet), there is no guarantee your bet will be matched by a counterparty. By the end of the event, your bet can be fully matched, partially matched or fully unmatched.

No worries, all unmatched bets, or portions of your bet that are unmatched, will be fully refunded to your wallet at the end of the fixture. You can check the status of your bet in your Portfolio page at any time.
