You notice in the above scenario that there are currently no outstanding orders that a player looking to bet ‘Against' Draw can match. You know this is the case as ‘Ask’ is shown.
You have an opportunity here to provide liquidity to the ‘Against’ Draw position.
In order to provide liquidity to the 'Against' Draw position, you must place an ‘For’ Draw bet.
Click on any 'For' position on the Draw contract (here ‘4.1’ or ‘4.5’) to open your Betslip.
Input the ‘Odds’ and ‘Stake’ at which you would like to bet.
'Odds': No requirements are set on the Odds but they must be different to current 'For' Odds available (as seen in Bet Grid) in order to not match these bets and successfully provide liquidity to the 'Against' market.
‘Stake’: Note, in order to achieve the ‘Provide Liquidity’ Aura achievement, your Stake must be over 0.0001 BTC (currently roughly $10.6 USD).
Once happy with your inputs, hit Place Bet!
Once your ‘For’ Draw bet is placed, it will appear in the Bet Grid as shown above, ready to potentially be matched by a counterparty looking to bet ‘Against' Draw.
Congratulations, you have successfully provided liquidity! You will now receive your ‘Provide Liquidity’ Aura rewards.
NOTE: As you have placed a ‘Limit Order’ (i.e an unmatched bet), there is no guarantee your bet will be matched by a counterparty. By the end of the event, your bet can be fully matched, partially matched or fully unmatched.
No worries, all unmatched bets, or portions of your bet that are unmatched, will be fully refunded to your wallet at the end of the fixture. You can check the status of your bet in your Portfolio page at any time.
